TERA - Beta week 1
Feb 10, 2012 was the first closed beta event for TERA. A new Action Combat MMO coming out on May 1, 2012. I've been waiting a while for this one because of the difference in combat styles from most AAA MMO titles out there that use tab targeting, hotbars and crappy AI mob packs. MMO Review - Star Wars: The Old Republic
Time to voice my opinion on the newest MMO - Star Wars: The Old Republic. I was not one of the people excited about this title. Game Review - Skyrim
Last week I took a week vacation to the land of Skyrim. I put in about 140 hours of game play over 9 days so if that doesn’t tell you it’s a good game, I will elaborate for you. Quick rundown: The graphics are a bit better than Oblivion – very realistic. The framerate is great on the high setting but I do get hit with nasty lag after an hour to 3 hours of play. My son and I like to pack in a few episodes of an anime series once or twice month...and the latest one we watched was Angel Beats. Dragon Nest is the newest Free to Play MMO from Nexon. It was to come out of beta in August but it still remains in beta...i think. MMO Review - Hellgate Global
Back in 2007 - a bunch of people from Blizzard started a company to make Hellgate: London. An Action Roleplaying game that you could play as single player or Multiplayer mode. Where Did My Prims Go?!!?!

Were you ever in the middle of building something and you had everything just right and you go to move a few prims and POOOOF – they are gone? You look around and they are no where. You look in your lost & found and in your object inventory….Nothing! So you start over with that section that went bye-bye.

Chances are they aren’t really gone. They went to Prim Limbo – or basically, they took a trip to 0,0,0 on your Sim. Next time this happens to you, don’t start crying right away! Head on down to the South West corner of your Sim and aim your camera under the terrain. There you just may find what you are missing – plus a few other things you didn’t know you were missing!

Color Tools

I recently started a few interactions with someone new. While I have been following her blog and Flickr for a while, I never posted or commented. Yes, I tend to be an introvert! Every now and then I will post here and there. I decided to post on Ener Hax’s Blog, which in turn got a response and that caused her to want to see who I was. So she did the normal research of looking at my blog and flickr and then she posted a few comments. One of the natural chain of events which forms online friendships.

Torchlight II coming 2011 – have you played Torchlight I yet?

Last October, a game was released called Torchlight. People compared it to Diablo I and II and the creators just by chance happen to have been part of the development team for Diablo who created their own company, Runic Games. I grabbed it for $19.99 and was not one bit disappointed in the purchase.

The game is pure fun. You rip thru layer after layer of dungeon feeling powerful and unstoppable, grabbing all the loot you can…and when you fill up, tell your pet to run back to town and sell it for you. Don’t get me wrong…you will die, but you will have fun doing it. Torchlight will provide you with hours and days of fun. You can go see 2 movies for $19.99 or buy this and get the equivalent of 50+ movies. I played a ranged vanquisher and loved it.

Now they have just announced Torchlight II for Spring 2011. Yet another 2011 release to add to everything I want to play. Part 2 will have the added ability to play with others, while Torchlight I was just a single player game. If you haven’t tried it out and are slightly bored with your current gaming choices…grab it! Steam has it too.
